Facebook has created a HUGE opportunity to connect with new customers. Here is a quick introductory guide on how to get started.
Step 1: If you haven’t already, create a Facebook Page for your business. You can manage the page from within your personal account.
Step 2: Design an ad
Facebook will let you advertise your business page or a website.
Step 3: Target new potential customers
Choose from city, state, age, sex, likes and interests, and education categories to narrow in on your target demographic.
Step 4: Edit your campaign options
Choose between a Pay for Clicks or Pay for Impressions campaign.
Place a maximum bid of how much you are willing to pay per click or per 1000 impressions. Don’t worry much about the pricing. Facebook will recommend a range of prices that will keep your add competitive and cost effective.
Enter in your daily budget (Facebook has a minimum requirement of $1 per day)
Choose what days and for how long you want to run your add.
Your all set! You’ve just set up your first Facebook add campaign. Facebook offers analytics to help keep track of how well your campaign is doing and you can make adjustments as needed.
