PayScale Releases IT Startup Salary Hotspots Report The Hosting News
Seattle-based PayScale not surprisingly lists San Francisco, Austin and Seattle at the top of its IT Startup Salary Hotspot Report, based on a combination of employment and median pay ratios. The Bay Area remains a magnet for IT startups with over twice the national average of employees and better compensation too – with a similar scenario in Seattle.
If Amazon hopes to be a real contender to Netflix’ movie subscription service, it first has to get past some steep hurdles. The online retailer has yet to gain rights to content from major studios, so a rumored debut this month seems ambitious even for such a big player in movie sales and rentals.
