Self-funded Seattle startup DoubleDown Interactive found a winning formula with legal, virtual pay-offs for its online games, claiming a daily player count that is the highest for any casino anywhere and a strong social presence with over a million Facebook “likes.” Video poker joins the list of games at the online casino headed by Greg Enell, even as the Feds drop the hammer on a trio of poker competitors.
CEO Jeff Bezos is taking a tough stance and citing Constitutional support, vowing to pull up stakes in states that require Amazon to collect sales tax on goods sold within those states.
